When you are young you have heroes that you look up to. People that inspire and do things that seem out of this world; that make you stand up and say "I want to be like that." As you get older you realize that they are just normal people like us all. That they have flaws. That they make mistakes.
As you grow up though, I feel that you should develop a sense of who you are, and strive to be great at whatever it is that you do. If you are going to do something you should do it well. If you are going to make choices, make choices that you can stand behind. If there is something that you want to do or something that you want to be, DO IT!!!
This world is what we make of it, and if you are going to have a hero, I say be the best version of your self that you can be. BE YOUR OWN HERO.

This is a great site, Adam. I like the minimalist style and mix of fashion, music --- and philosophical words of wisdom. What you say here about heroes is so true... we must all own our own choices and look within not to others for validation of our choices and goals. My own life choices were sometimes unexpected to others - certainly startling to most of my family and friends at that time of great changes when i was a lot younger. However, now looking back, I can honestly say no regrets despite the costs. Keep focused on YOUR own vision too, and may you continue to inspire! Marky Posted by: markyrainbow
